Birthday and skiing!

Happy holidays and 18:th Birthday :)

So i guess its the Christmas here in America! In Sweden we celebrated christmas yesterday the 24!

I'm in Michigan now after a 7 hour drive! We are at Georgeanne's sister and her friends house! Its awesome and we are going to open up some more gifts now!

I got a lot of stuff for Christmas and i am really satisfied with the day, the gifts i got and the gifts I gave! I got a guitar + some guitar stuff, my favorite cologne Wood, Modern Warfare 2, Assasins Creed 2, a plad dress shirt, my awesome headphones, a scarf, some underwear, my self designed converse, that came in the wrong size btw lol but its fine, Star wars clone wars, and Star Wars episode 4-6, deodorant, an album of pictures of my stay so far, two pair of underwear, a t-shirt from my sister, a pair of Iowa hawkeye sweatpants, a poster of kyle and bille joe. And the gifts i gave was, three sega genisis games, Lion King, Mortal combat and Sonic 2, A scarf and mobile cover for Georgeanne and Stertrek movies to Al. And the gift i haven't got yet is from my parents in Sweden, it is a Ipod Classic 160 Gb :) IT IS AWESOME! Thanks for all the gifts i loved all of them!!!

And i turn 18 tomorrow but i'm actually 18 right now! I have been 18 years old in 3 hours! Because its is the 26:th in Sweden and i was born at 1:00 Am :) But i'm not considered 18 in America yet though lol :) I'm excited don't really know what we are doing but we are going to a resurant to eat, we'll do something and then i will have a party with kyle when i get home! He turns 20 on the 31:th! So now when I'm 18 it is legal for me to drink in Sweden! And also to, buy cigaretts and other tobacco products, buy and watch porn, drive a car, vote... Wait a sec, I can do everything in Sweden because i am an adult!!!!! :D Isn't that awesome! :)

Going skiing the day after my birthday! It is going to be awesome and i'm excited!!!!!!!! Havn't skied yet this season so im looking forward to it!! Thats all i got atm!

Merry Christmas

So its the day everyone has been waiting for, it is Christmas eve! :) At least i have, the christmas spirit, the happiness and of course the gifts!

My day started of with talking to my Swedish family for over an hour and it was really awesome! It made me happy because during a time like this I really miss my family and all the traditions we have back in Sweden and the food :) haha! Anyway it was a great time talking to them and it was really fun! It made me even more happy! The t-shirt i am wearing is from my beloved sister Cecilia! I love it! The picture is of me (with an awesome t-shirt) lol, Roman (Al's grandchild) and Kyle :)



Then we went to some relatives and exchanged gifts, ate some amazing food and just hung out and talked :) It was great! The picture is of Al's daughter Jennifer, Georgeanne and Kyle :)



Then we went to our neighbours and handed of some homemade cookies and stuff we baked! It contained like 4 different cookies, one of them were an addition from me called almond cookies :) Its the one with the shell shape ;)



And now we are all waiting for the gifts and the food to get done! :) Im SOOOO excited! :D

So I don't know what i will get yet but i know one thing that I will get, its from my parents in Sweden. Its a Ipod Classic with 160 Gb!!!!!!!!! :D HOW AWESOME ISN'T THAT! :) They send it to the wrong address so i will get it in a few days. But it is fine :)

Going to Michigan tomorrow to visit some other relatives and it is going to be really fun! :) I will update the blog some time tomorrow and tell you guys whats goin on, what presents i got, whats up in Michigan and what my plans will be for my 18 birthday! :) Talk to you guys later and hope you have a Merry Merry Christmas!

winterbreak!

Had a a great weekend and did a lot of stuff!

Had a basketball game friday that didn't go that well but oh well it was fine! After the game i went to a party with 2 siblings, allyson and andrew. It was pretty awesome!

Saturday started off with another basketball game and we lost again... It kinda sucks we haven't won one Varsity nor JV game. After that i went to the mall with noel and met some of his friends it was pretty sweet and i finished buying all my xmas giftsAfter the game i went to Maggie's house with about 10 other people, we were hot tubing outside and rolled in the snow haha it was awesome! The hot tub was made for 6 and we were 11 people in it so it was REALLY full. After that we went inside and watched The Hangover. It was hilarious haha i mean it was really awesome, probably top among top 10 comedy! After that i hung out with Kyle and Becca at a party!

Sunday was pretty sweet, Noel invited me to a smaller concert it was awesome music and a lot of cool people! I had a really good time!

Yesterday was awesome! We won our first JV game and it was against The rival school Central City and it was awesome! And i did my first points, i made 2 layups = 4 points :) It was an awesome feeling!

Last day of school tomorrow and i can't wait for 2 weeks off! Thursday; Christmas eve and it is going to be awesome i can't wait i love Christmas and the Christmas spirit. Were going to Michigan some days over Christmas break on friday and its going to be fantastic were going to stay at Georgeanne's sister. And then... my 18:th bithday!!!! Like the one of the biggest Birthday in my life... kinda. :) It is going to be a great week!!! :D

Elementry and Choir concert

The 17th of December was a GOOD day!

I went to the elementry school today with the other exchange students in our school. The other two are from Norway and Georgia (not from the US), Sara and Ilia. We got asked if we wanted to talk to two 5th grade classes about our home countries and our culture and stuff. I talked to them about where Sweden is on the map, and asked if they knew where it is. Talked about the Traditions we have, about Midsommar, Kraftskivor och Lucia and about the most popular sports we have and some other stuff! It was really fun and they really had a lot of questions so it was awesome! :)

Then I had basketball practice that was as usual awesome!

After the practice we had the Choir Holiday Concert. It was awesome and it went well for me. We had one kid that kinda screwed up but its fine he is all good! And i kinda figured out how much fun you can have with the robes that we wear! Haha it was awesome just goofing around before the singing part.

Hey!

Had a good weekend! Had a Bball game friday and saturday but we lost both. Slept over at a Noel's house friday. At Sunday George and i went to the mall and bought some Christmas gifts and gave my secong x-box 360 back because it was something wrong with it..

Had a game today to and for the first time the JV team actually did pretty good and I was SOOO close to get my first point!! But I have a feeling that the first Victory and my first points will come next game!

Its about like 4- Fahrenheit outside and its freaking FREEZING! 4- Fahrenheit is about 20- Celcius!

Christmas in 10 days and The B-day in 11 I can't wait its going to be awesome! :) I love Christmas and for the first time in a long time I'm celebrating Christmas with a lot of snow!

Snow days!

So we haven't had a full day of school this week and its been pretty sweet!
Monday and Tuesday were halfdays and wednesday and Thursday were totally gone from school! I'm sure you wonder why... well we have had like 12 inches of snow and 50 mph winds so we pretty much got snowed in because we live in the country and the plow cars doesn't get here as fast!

This is what I did the first snow day!



I spent Thursday at Dana's house we were just chilling! And when i got home i wrote my Psychology paper and then I booked my trip to Hawaii!! :) HOW AWESOME IS THAT!!!? XD

Tomorrow school and then weekend! I will hopefully do some sledding :)

First thanksgiving ever!

Happy thanksgiving everyone!

Thanksgiving is a holiday in America and Canada, its a celebration of giving thanks for the harvest and express gratitude in general. I want to thank my family in Sweden for the love we share and that they support me and my choice to be an exchange student :) <3>

This is my first thanksgiving and its going to be fun! We will celebrate thanksgiving with the family and Al's daughter and her children. Georgeannes brother and sister couldn't come so thats sad but it will be awesome anyway :) My donation for the thanksgiving dinner was a swedish apple cake, it turned out really well! We also have a huge turkey on 22 pounds.

Thanksgiving!

THANKSGIVINGBREAK! And its going to be awesome! So last night we went to the mall with the school to make some money. It was pretty sweet we ate and just chilled. Got back to school at about 1 pm, then basketball practice at like 3.30 pm. After that we went to the mall again lol but with some friends it was pretty sweet and i bought a hat :) Then I had like a sleepover or something i don't know what to call it lol. Anyway so I had 9 friends over and we had really fun!

The basketball practice this morning felt like it took for ever because i had only got 4 houds of sleep! But it was fine, the practice went well untill after when all upper classmen had to lift. It was legs today so it was alright, but i'm sooooo sore it hurts just standing up haha.

So I'm really tired today so i'm probably just going to chill at home with the family and then tomorrow its thanksgiving and some relatives will come and we will eat our 22 pound turkey! haha its huge! I'm going to be so FAAAT! And its going to be my first thanksgiving so i am psyched! :)

New moon and stuff!

Saturday was pretty awesome! started out early by go work at the concetionstand at the Iowa Hawkeyes, it was better than the last time, probably because I had more company that was fun, last time it was just George, kyle and me that was fun. lol. This time there where a lot of cool people, Gentry, Spencer, Sara, Mattea, Kyle and george so it was way more fun!
I spent my night at Nathaniels house, haha I always have a good time there, Nate, Dana and I just hung out and had fun! We played some Mario cart Lol it was the tits! (An expression of like Awesome lol) Then we watched, I love you man. A really good movie! Thats where i got the expression "Titts" from :P

Watched New moon from the Twilight saga today with Allyson! It was a ton of fun and the movie was actually not to bad ether ;) After that we went to Ho hot mongolian restuarant! Gotta say I LOVE that Place! and tonight I have hung out with Kyle and George. playing some games, talking some and studying.

To summarize... THIS WEEKEND WAS THE TITTS!

FridaY!!!!

Its been a long day but i gotta say it have been awesome!

Started off at the school bus with the football team to see the state final! We were like prank calling some people and the there was this dude called Cody that got the # to the white House!!! Yeah I'm serious haha it was hilarious. He like hung up on them and then there was this guy calling his phone and saying that he committed like federal offence and that they will track him down! Lol But it was just Spencer from the team who pranked him back lol it was awesome!

Then we arrived at the game and like watched it for a couple of hours, we had so much fun just hanging and talking and messing around I had a ton of fun!

And OMG my friend Dana cut him self on the band saw today like 1/3 inch in his finger! R.I.P. a part of his finger!...

When we got home it was the basketball practice and i was psyched, I love basketball and i is really fun! I have played it for like 4 days butI'm getting a hang on it! So then we had this thing called Basketball Blow Out where the girls and boys team play just for fun in front of people just to like show them who is out for basket ball this year! I got some nice shots and when we played the game i even got a shot in the basket! Basketball i awesome and I'm really glad i went out for it!

And at last i went to a friends house to like chill and watch movies with some people it was pretty fun! We watched like a high school movie... Idon't know the name of it and the other movie was "My Bloody Valentine" Haha it was pretty sick! Then we started to watch Road Trip But i went home in the middle of it because i have to be at the Iowas Hawkeye game to work in the concession stand for the school...

Anyway i got a lot to look forward this weekend but i tell you more about that later! Take care! <3

Basketball!

So basketball season has started and I AM PUMPED! Its going to be awesome :) We have like 3 mornigpractices before school then 4 practices after school, the when we start to have games we will have like 2 - 3 games a week! So there will be alot! but thats awesome because i want to play as much as possible! I'll get a picture up on my basketballpictures tomorrow!
Just wanted to let you guys know that... BASETBALL HAS STARTED!!!!!

3 1/2 Days of weekend WHOOO!

Had an early out yesterday so we got out from school at 1.20 was pretty awesome! Was hanging out with Dana and Nathaniel again for a while before we went to the playpractice that Dana is in, I'm just helping out with the light because Dana asked and they needed help. Went home after that cause i was really tired, ate, talked with Georgeanne for a while, then checked my laptop and after that i was pretty much dead so i went to bed.

We have no school today because the teachers have an conference day where they talk about stuff lol. So I'm going yo Kyles collage to play some racquetball with him its doing to awesome! Tonight... I think i will go to a girl who i like, she has a bonfire or maybe go to the forth kind again with some other friends haha. That's my plans for the weekend so far.

School is going really good and we just finished the first quarter of the school year. I have 8 classes and have total 5 A and 3 B. Photo = B, Choir = A, Psychology = A, Chemistry = A, English = B, Woods = A, PE = A and American History = B. So I'm quite Satisfied with my grades :)

Basketball season starts soon and my goal for the season is to start in JV, I mean i started varsity in football and i had never played it before so I figure why not aim high in basketball too :) I'm a competitor! We start the season at the 16 November.

Great weekend!

This weekend was pretty awesome and I had tons of fun!

Friday night, was hanging out with Dana and Nathaniel and later went to meet some girls from school, I kinda like one of them. We just hang out and had fun!

Saturday, ohhh Saturday was totally awesome! Everything except for the working at the Iowa Hawkeye game and going up at 6 am at a weekend!! it sucked! But it got better from there, later i went to Brittney's house for like an hour and lots of people was there it was pretty fun! Then i went with 3 friends to see Fourth kind, it was so freaky and really made you think I really recommend it to all people who read this blog, if there is one lol :P It was based on a true story and had some real footage in it, it was about alien abduction.
I went to Dana after the movie and stayed the night there. There was this time when all the people got abducted, it was 3.33 am so me and Dana stayed up to after 3.33 before we went to bed hahaha!

Sunday was pretty chill, only things i did was riding the horse! That's how i like my sundays just chilling!

We our football reward thing today and we voted for, best JV player offence, best JV player Defense, best JV player special team, Best varsity player offense, best varsity player defense, best varsity special team. I won the best JV player Offense and i got really happy for it. I also got really good compliments from the coach. It was really awesome, I also got the springville mark that you put on your jacket and got the pin that symbolize that i have played varsity 50 percent or more of the season.

Bought a couple of new clothes today, it was buy one get one so i bought a sweatshirt and got a pair of jeans for free, i actually found them in the womens section! Its so hard to find slim jeans here so i bought the womens jeans that looks awesome! lol

I will have a long weekend this weekend which will be awesome! Like 3 1/2 day!
So i will hopefully go play racquetball at Kyles collage Coe at Thursday, and probably go watch 2012 the movie at the night. I will sing at a concert tomorrow with the choir it will be pretty fun!

Halloween!

Hey guys just posting a quick halloween post!

Just got home from trick or treating with some friends, we were suppose to be like bunch of people from the Southpark but that didn't happened so we dressed up as we wanted! I dressed up as the joker from batman! It was pretty sweet!

Now Kyle and I are going to a halloween party its going to pretty awesome! Kyle is going to be Billie Joe!

Have a friend thats birthday is today haha she is having a hugh halloween party in michigan, would have been awesome to be there! Congratulations Mika!

Don't stop me now, I'm having such a good time I'm having a baal!

Everything is going really great over here in the states and I'm enjoying every second of it! Last football game tomorrow have had a great time playing with all of you guys!

My favorite song is "Don't stop me now" by Queen and I think that that song represents how I feel at the moment! I'm having a great time here in America!

Watched Zombieland last weekend with George and i got to say, it was awesome, end up on the top 10 list easy! Hanged out with Kyle and his friends at Sunday night it was pretty fun, we just hanged out and played some pool. And of course, football Friday night, played varsity starter as a Defensive tackle on the line, it went alright considering that I had a guy on like 320 pounds guarding me lol, 320 pounds = 150 kg. We lost.

I also sang at the concert with the choir Monday night! It went pretty well, it was fun and I'm looking forward for the next concert! Me and Dana had tambourines haha and were killing it! lol.

But when the JV team played them Tuesday night we beat and it felt gooooooood! It was an intense game that could have gone ether way. I did the starting touchdown and 2 pat. It was awesome and it was the type of touchdown I wanted to be my first. It was a pass play and the quarterback threw the ball in the air and i caught it, a defender came flying at me but he didn't get a grip on me so I got loose and ran to the end field and made a touchdown :D P-ray the QB made two touchdowns and Drake made the last one. We won and the final score was 28 - 20.

I am playing Varsity tomorrow too as a defensive back. The defense that we are running is called the x factor. The x guy is always defending their best player! And guess what?? I am the x defender, and I have a very big role in the game! I'm nervous but I'm confident that I will do good, i will do my best and that's all I can do.

Going over to Dana's house soon to watch the latest episode of The Office! Dana, Nathaniel and Collin will be there! Its gonna be awesome!

And Saturday I will hang out at Brandon's house with some other people from the school its going to be great :D

Hope that Kyle will get out from Coe this weekend too so I can hang out with him too :)

Touchdown!

Made my first touchdown yesterday and i gotta say it was awesome :) everybody before the game was like... "Oo you will make a touchdown alright!" XD

It was the JV game and we were up against Preston the second time this season do we really wanted to win! Anyway we didn't do that well, made a lot of mistakes and the defence didn't really fight aggressively. I just played in offence first half, and did the kickoffs, kick return and PAT. We were under with like 3 touchdowns in first half.
Second half we did much better! Might have been because they put me in defencive tackle! It is my favourite position in defence :) I made a lot of tackles and I especially remember one of them, I broke free of the offensive line and then I tried to block and tackle the quarterbacks throw by jumping like up and right at him. I missed the block but I flew right in him and killed him! ; not killing him for real though lol!

Then... the big things started to happened! Drake our fullback made 2 long runs and we were like 5-10 yards from the end zone. The coach said the play and we ran it! I get the ball and run straight forward aaand...... MAKES MY FIRST TOUCHDOWN! Can't explain the feeling but can only say that it was freaking awesomeness!!! XD

We lost the game but i was still happy!

Homecoming at the Anamosa High school was way sweet! Our group went to an awesome restaurant called olive garden they served Italian and i love Italian food! Then we went to the dance, My date Jackie was awesome, really fun to dance with, kinda wild ;) We had fun, me, jackie, kyle and becca!

Varsity Friday and I'm starting in defence!!!!!! :D Im so excited! I'm going to play the same position as i did the JV game! Defensive tackle! The guys I'm up against will be way bigger but I'm faster so I will still make it!

Homecoming week were awesome I had really fun!

I haven't got the pictures from the actual week of dressing weird yet but they will be updated on my facebook profile page soon!

The day before the game we had our parade and the pepper ally, we were suppose to have a big bonfire down at the football field but it was raining so we had it all inside :) it was pretty fun. The whole football team rode a firetruck around the town and we like... "smile and wave boys, smile and wave" Lol :P They also had a jersey auction when people bid on our shirts, my got sold for like 60 dollars. They wore them in school and at the football game, they bid on the white away game jerseys that I'm wearing in the pic. A girl called gentry bought it, she is awesome!




We lost our homecoming game but pretty much because we aren't that good and the other team was like top 10 on our district!
Anyway the homecoming day with the dance and everything was sweet, we ate dinner with our group at a place called chillies and I ate a BIG steak, it was awesome :) George was suppose to take pictures of me and my date and two of my friend that are a couple, when were all dressed up and stuff. But my date wasn't there cause she waited at the restaurant for us. but it didn't really matter because we went to my dates house, Sarah, and her mom took some pictures of the whole group :) They will be updated to my facebook too.
You just have to live with the picture of me and my friends homecoming picture for now. It looks like we are on a triple date because we all match it is kinda funny XD.


Everybody was like saying that the homecoming dance was going to be lame, well it was kinda lame but only if you think that it will be, so i just went in and wanted to have fun. And i did have fun, really fun!! It was kinda lame at the beginning because the DJ really sucked she only played like slow dances aka "tryckare" :P. But when we all wanted to change music to like something more dancing music like hip hop or pop people started to dance. And ofc I was in the middle of the dance. We weren't that many that did dance but the people that did sure had fun... don't know about the other people but they probably thought that it was kinda lame... lol.
After the dance a bunch of people went to A girl called Katie, it was fun we were just chilling.

A funny thing about Americans is how they call their parties parties... they are not really parties they just watching movies and stuff. They should come to Sweden and see how a REAL party is!!! :D

Chilled at a dudes house called Dana and some other people after school today cause we had half day and ended school at 1 am so it was awesome! I usually have football practice just after school so i cant really do that much after school soo that sucks. It was fun we played the new Halo 3 Odst it was sweet! And I also took my flue shot today, it was not for H1M1 (swine flue) but apparently it will protect me :) lol. cost like 26 dollars!!

Are trying to sign up to the Hawaii trip with Youth for Understanding but it doesn't go so well! :/
But I WILL GO TO HAWAII with my friend sunny who also is going there! It will be sooo much fun :)

homecomingweek!

Homecoming week this week and it has been awesome hope it will continue to be awesome! :)

We have themes every day because it is homecoming week this week. Yesterday everybody were suppose to wear their class color, the seniors were pink so i colored my hair pink lol! Today was 80's day, tomorrow is Disney day and I'm gonna be the joker from batman. Yes joker is a Disney character now because disney bought marvel :D Thursday is nerd day and I'm going to wear my suspenders, iron man t-shirt, my glasses, coloroid pants and fix my hair in a nerdy way :P Friday is the homecoming game and everybody should dress with springville clothes! I really hope that i get to do the kickoff for that game! That would be so CRAZY, it's like the most glorious game at the whole year :) And Saturday.. Homecoming dance! I'm so looking forward to it it's gonna be so fun :)

I had my Swedish friend Sunny aka Sanne over this weekend and we had an awesome time! She is also an exchange student with YFU and we met at this pre-departuring meeting in Stockholm in June. She is CRazy :) She were only over for Saturday to sunday but we had an awesome time and she will be back! We were at the mall, had a bonfire at the evening and at Sunday sunny and I rode the horses, it was her first time! We did a lot of things and I had a really good time. :D

Awesomeness!

Friday was gameday, so i played both varsity and JV. I played a lot in the JV, both offence and defence! In the offence i played as a running back, which means that you get to run with the ball a lot. I had some good runs and might have had like 70 rushing yards or something like that! So It was sweet :D I really wanted to do a touchdown but i will just have to wait until next JV game at next Monday! I played as a defencive tackle in the defence it was really fun to like break free of the line and just go tackle people :) heheh!
I did some kicking in the varsity team and i hit 100 % of the Pat's. I did two so it was cool! Kickoffs went well too, kicked one out of the end zone :D

I worked in the concession at the Iowa Hawkeye game yesterday and it took all day!! It was alright but i was kinda braindead after all that moneycounting :P Especially in the halftime, felt like i served a thousand people, was probably only hundreds ^^ I did it because we raise money to the school and the music and art program and i thought that it would be cool to see some of the game! :)
After the Hawkeye game i went to Brandons bonfire, were a couple of people there it was sweet! I slept at his house and another friend did too! It was fun!

No school tomorrow!!!!! Awesome to just chill :) I'm thinking of going down to the field to go practice my kicking with the other kicker in our team! He is good at it to so we will like see who can make a 50 yard field goal first :P I have made a 45 yard fieldgoal :D Hehe




I have just been chilling today and i slept to like 4.30 and then i helped Goergeanne fixing the basement! So it was sweet! Talk to you later! Puss kram <3

POPCORN!

The Friday game went okey. We won by 27-22, we should have won by way more than that. We played very bad and I seriously think that the other team Oland deserved to win. They played with their heart and we didn't, we we so confident that we were gonna beat them so easy and that is why we almost lost!

I didn't get to play anything because coach "dumbass" Bowman always play his best 8. I mean if you play so bad with those players why don't try someone that really wants to play! Doesn't neccesarely have to be me but i mean someone! Anyway can't wait for Friday and the JV game where i get to play as a runningback :) YEY!! I will probably play as a safety too!

So i asked this girl in school if she wanted to go to prom with me and she said yes of course :) She is cool, nice, smart, look good! So by this point I'm going to two different homecomings, the 3 October and the 9 October :)

We were in town yesterday and visited the popcornshop, they had TONS of popcorn and like a million different flavours!


And now it's settled Sunny is coming the 26! AWESOMEEE! :D

Can't wait for school tommorrow and the football practice!

Black out night!

Black out night tomorrow and the first real home game of the year with the varsity team!!! I'M PSYCHED! :D

So it is the black out night tomorrow which means three things! First; everybody in school is suppose to wear a black outfit in school, second; our game clothes is totally black, they are usually white, black or and orange and third; ITS FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS AND WE WILL ROCK!!!!!! XD

Football is going really well! I have been practicing to play as a tailback, runingback, slot... I think that they all are the same! Lol. Anyway i got to run with the ball a lot in the offence :) its soooo fun! And I'm getting really good at it, already know most of the games. The coaches lets me play a lot in practice and they think that I'm doing really good! They say that I'm one of the fastest players in the team or even maybe the fastest :)

Haha practice today was awesome! We were suppose to have like short short on us and everyone looked CRAZY :P haha! The courterback cut a pare of old jeans so it was like a par of hotpants :P haha sick :P Myself! I had my soccer shorts and rolled up my pants and shirt! Gotta say... we looked reaaaal sexy :P haha!

I really hope that i get to play a little bit in the game tomorrow, but since its a varsity game I will probably not. BUT, apparently, the team we are up against suppose to be really bad! So if we are winning and the score is like 65 - 14 or something they maybe will play me because we are leading with so much! I REALLY hope that we win and that i get to play!!

Homecoming is coming up! And Kyle's girlfriend Becca's best friend asked me if i wanted to go to there homecoming with her and I said yes! She look good and is kinda crazy lol! They go to another high school so I will go to two homecomings :) hehe :) We will in fact do a double date! I will explain what you actually do on homecoming later... When I know it! lol. I don't have a date for the homecoming at my school Springville but I think i know who to ask :)

So I did just talk to my friend Sanne aka Sunny from Karlstad, Sweden, Iowa falls and hopefully she will come over to my place the 26 september!! :) it would be soooo cool :)

Well will make an update at like Saturday and tell you guys how the game went! So have a good time! I Will :)

Friday Night Lights

So I'm sorry for not updating the blog this last week, its not that i haven't had anything to say but I have had school, football, trouble with horses and stuff!

Anyway so last Sunday I decided to take my first ride on a horse! It was really fun and I like galloped and stuff, it toke some time for the horse to do as I told him but after a while i got the hang of it. We rode like 2 hours streak, and i was loving it, but it didn't take long before I started to sneeze and sneeze and sneeze! I hoped that it just were the cold, but NOOO! Apparently I'm really allergic to horses, I mean not just little, the morning after my eyes was so red that you could barely see the white in them, it itched and I had trouble breathing! So we went to the doctor to get some pills and stuff. So this week I have spent about 250 dollars on medication and doctors appointments, I have been taking like six pills a day got a inhaler if i got any troubles of breathing and a BIG shot in my ass! And on top of all this i got bonkydus or something like that that makes me coff really much!
Anyway it starting to get better now and i played the JV game yesterday under the lights!

It was the first game under the lights for me and I got to play defensive back because I'm like fast, it was really fun and i got to make some tackles. They call it Friday night lights when it's a home game and the games is always played at Friday evenings under the lamps. It was awesome because now i was really in the game, not just kicking Pat's and kickoffs.. That's fun too but tackling is WAY better! It wasn't with the best team we have because i have to learn how to play the position better before i even get to think about maybe playing varsity. I think i got it pretty well but i messed up once real bad! The game ended up like 35 to 70 so we lost kinda big! But we played our freshmen and sophomore players and they played the best they had, so we did kinda good! The other team was all Indians so it was cool, they were really big!

And i prevented a touchdown, it was so awesome making that tackle! :)

Another exchange student has come to Springville, he is from Georgia. Not the state Georgia tho :P His name is Elia and he is kinda cool!

LABOR DAY at Monday so we don't have to go to school so it's a long weekend! WHOOOO! Don't really know what you do at labor day but well well one more day of sleeping is never wrong! :)

Singing in the Rain!

So school started Wednesday at it was pretty awesome! I really liked my classes except for the math pre-calc and U.S history they are hard! Everyone is nice and There is always someone to talk to, not that you have time for that because you only have 2 minutes between every class! Hahah. The school is so so small, i see like everyone in the school a couple of times a day! haha. Choir is really cool we haven't really singed anything but the teacher is really cool, so youthfully like she is awesome! lol. Our woods teacher is really chill, just this day he was like sitting at the chair with his legs on the table and saying "Well I'm just gonna wright it on the whiteboard and show what I mean, and then he is like WOW this totally looks like an mountain and hey this is me skiing its funny because i don't know how to ski! haha flippad, thought about whether he was high or not! hehe!

Practice today was CRAZY!!! We usually take it chill the day before the game so we had no football pants! Haha it has rained so much here, like 4 days in a row and it has like rained about 8 inches! So the field was like insanely wet, everyone in the team was sliding on the water/Grass it was so FUN! And there was this place just by the field that had like water up to the waist so we like runned and jumped right in it, it was like totally insane! But after a while i starting to feel really cold, well i think it was worth it! :) haha!

Game day tomorrow, and I will probably don't do any Pat's this time because this other guy that can kick better than me is present at this game! He was at his grandpas wedding last time!! So that sucks but in time i will probably start kicking full time! This game is 2 hours away so it not so fun :P

At every game day we have to where our game shirt and a par of jeans to school! Haha not really my style but its kinda fun and sweet! :P

Our basement is so flooded it is like one inch down there and it smells so bad! :P haha just wanted you guys to know! Talk to you later!

Smashing Babe!

So I didn't really know what the title of this post should be called so i just took a line from Austin powers! That may seem a little random but i will explain! So yesterday i was at the theater watching The Inglorious Bastards and Mike Myers had a role in the movie and that reminded me about Austin Powers! Anyway the movie was awesome, the director of the movie is Quentin Tarantino.. who else would create an insane movie like this! Hahah. No seriously i strongly recommend all of you to go see it! I went there with two people from my class, they're nice!

I went to my first party in USA last Saturday it was kinda cool! We like partied in a barn! Haha so not just first party i USA but the first party in a barn too! I went there with my host brother Kyle and his girlfriend Becca! They are so cool!

And at Sunday I was at a bonfire! It was pretty cool i couldn't be there for a long time cause it started like 7 and i came there 9.30, and the whole thing ended at like 1 am! But it was cool there was a lot of cool people there! And i met the other exchange student from our school there! It was awesome because she is from Norway so we like spoke our own languages I talked Swedish and she talked Norwegian! It was soooo cool! She will be in my class this year! I met a lot of people that are going to be in my class! And i met this girl from California she was sweet and nice!

So kyle left to Collage last Sunday so it will be a little lonely here at the house but it will be fine! He will come back at weekends but not every weekend! I will probably go stay at the campus some weekends and like have fun and stuff!

So school starts tomorrow and I'm so PSYCHED! It's gonna be so cool! The only bad thing about it is that I have to do wight lifting at the morning with the football team! Weight lifting is like going to the gym! We have to do weight lifting like 2-3 days a week! So there is a lot of practice during football season! But it is fun i like it! Everybody here is like NOOO i don't want to go to school and i am like WHAT school is gonna be awesome! haha! It's gonna be cool meeting all the people and teachers and do the classes I'm so looking forward to it!

PAT's!

My first American football game did pretty well!

It was a long day yesterday and it was all about football! I went up about 12 am to eat some breakfast, practice some kickoffs in the yard! Then it was time to go to school and take the school bus to the game who left about 2. 15 pm! It took like 2 1/2 hour to get there so it was kinda lame! The game start was at 7 pm so we had a quite a time a the field to chill and practice! Anyway I didn't get to do the first kickoff because my kickoffs was not that good in the practice so this other guy Drake got to do the first kickoff and i did the second and so on! But my kickoff was so good so I got to do all of the remaining kickoffs that was pretty SWEET! So our team did a couple of Pat's = Points after touchdown. I got to do all the Pat's because I'm the best in our team at that! Anyway I was kinda nervous or something so I missed some Pat's in the beginning but after about 2 tries I started to score some points! I did 3 of them and the coaches were really satisfied with me! We won BIG i cant remember the score but we OWNED them so hard!

To bad that I didn't get to do any field goals that would be pretty sweet! For you that doesn't understand the difference between a PAT and a Field goal, a PAT is the thing you do after a touchdown, you get one point for that! A field goal is usually done when you have done your fourth down then you kick a field goal and if you make that shoot you get 3 points!

I will do even better the next game because I have only kicked Pat's one day before the game! Now i have a week to prepare myself for the next game! So wish me luck!

Football and charity!

Hey guys I'm doing an update conserning my day as an charity worker and as one of the best kickers in our team! Probably the best but i dont know :P haha!

So Georgeanne (my host-mom) had me signed up to doing a thing called habitat for humanity! Me, kyle and georgeanne were helping building houses today for the people who lost their houses in the flood last summer! But we didn't actually do that much, we but in door locks and painted! But still its for a good cause! 

The charity thing took about 4 hours so i was late for my football practice but it was cool with the coach! So i didn't do that much but kicking the ball, which turned out to be my thing! It was kinda fun, so I will probably do the kickoff at the first game of the year tomorrow! Its gonna be freaking AWESOME! And I will play for the varsity team that means the best team that they have! It will be cooL!

So kyle bought a laptop today and he is kinda psyched! Anyway he wanted me to write that lol! But i get it if you guys dont care, because i dont! :P

Hectic days!

So these last couple of days have been kinda stressed out! But it would feel weard if i came here and had nothing to do so I like it, and I'm that person that like to do things!

So the football practice started at monday, and there are usually practice for times a week and one game! We started up pretty slow with just lifting some weights and looking at last years game against the team that we will meet at friday. I couldn't practice yesterday because i was at he airport saying goodbyw to the former exchange student Patrick. So the first real practice was today but i didn't really get to do anything because i don't get to use my shoulderpads because of some law or something like that! Its really weard! And the coach canceled the outdoor practice right in the middle of it because he thought he heard thunder! That was really gay! So I will probably get to practice for real at the beginning of next week!

I met some cool people at the football practice so they asked me if i wanted to hang with them! It was kinda cool, we just hanged out and was having a great time laughing and stuff! So im going to their bonfire at sunday, it will be fun!

After the practice today I choose my classes, they are; Photo, pottery, choir, pre-calculate, chemistry, english, woods, physical education, government, american history and speech. I think it will be a good mix of different classes, so I'm pretty satisfied.

So they have this AWSOME store neare where we live you can like buy evreything you could possibly want there, it's called Wallmart! I bought a pair of shoos, a wallet, twinkeys, chips, locks for my locker. Well they have a lot more stuff than that so it's pretty cool! The shoos was pretty cool, I'm adding a picture so you can see them, they did only cost 7 dollars = 49 kronor!
It seems like Kyles cat billie joe seems to like em! Or he's just curious! Billie joe is SOO fat and he is SOO stupid, he is kinda funny! :)


The brother Kyle is gonna teach me a little about playing the guitar, have a feeling that I will ROCK! Well maybe not we will see about that! Ttyl = Talk to you later! Haha

My first 5 days as an Springvillan!

Hey guys this is Daniel Cheacking in from Iowa!

My flight went smooth! It was pretty awsome cuse i meet like two cool people! One of them was an another exchange student from Sweden! She was really cool :) The other one was an american guy that i met on the plane from newyork! He was like 36 years old and a really fun guy!

So im having an AWSOME time here in Iowa my host family is awsome they are really open minded and cool! I have met a bunch of new people they have all been nice to me and stuff like that. i ussually hang out with my hostbrother kyle, his girlfriend becca and an former exchangestudent called Patrick they are all so awsome! Its sad that patrcik have to leave in like 3 days :(. These guys are awsome and i will probably hang out with becca and kyla a lot!

I have been very buissy these couple of days! I have been on the green day consert it was so cool, green day must be the one of the best live bands EVER! Franz ferdinand was preband, and i didnt know about that so i was like YEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH.. I love Franz ferdinand!

I have also been to a baseball game! It was cool, tobad that our team lost!

I have been to a couple of binfires = campfires that has been awsome, you just like hanging out meet new people and having fun! Bonfires is like the american way! :)

So Some girls yesterday thought that i looked like an model in some magazine it was pretty cool but its probably because im Swedish! :)

yeah right! I got a phone for free from a stranger yesterday it was kinda awsome!

So I cant like upload any pictures yet because I forgot my wire to the camera but i will get a new one soon so i can show you pictures of how i live and of the people that I'm hanging out with!

Thats all i can come up with now! Iowa is awsome and i love it here! The people the nature everything!
