Touchdown!

Made my first touchdown yesterday and i gotta say it was awesome :) everybody before the game was like... "Oo you will make a touchdown alright!" XD

It was the JV game and we were up against Preston the second time this season do we really wanted to win! Anyway we didn't do that well, made a lot of mistakes and the defence didn't really fight aggressively. I just played in offence first half, and did the kickoffs, kick return and PAT. We were under with like 3 touchdowns in first half.
Second half we did much better! Might have been because they put me in defencive tackle! It is my favourite position in defence :) I made a lot of tackles and I especially remember one of them, I broke free of the offensive line and then I tried to block and tackle the quarterbacks throw by jumping like up and right at him. I missed the block but I flew right in him and killed him! ; not killing him for real though lol!

Then... the big things started to happened! Drake our fullback made 2 long runs and we were like 5-10 yards from the end zone. The coach said the play and we ran it! I get the ball and run straight forward aaand...... MAKES MY FIRST TOUCHDOWN! Can't explain the feeling but can only say that it was freaking awesomeness!!! XD

We lost the game but i was still happy!

Homecoming at the Anamosa High school was way sweet! Our group went to an awesome restaurant called olive garden they served Italian and i love Italian food! Then we went to the dance, My date Jackie was awesome, really fun to dance with, kinda wild ;) We had fun, me, jackie, kyle and becca!

Varsity Friday and I'm starting in defence!!!!!! :D Im so excited! I'm going to play the same position as i did the JV game! Defensive tackle! The guys I'm up against will be way bigger but I'm faster so I will still make it!

Homecoming week were awesome I had really fun!

I haven't got the pictures from the actual week of dressing weird yet but they will be updated on my facebook profile page soon!

The day before the game we had our parade and the pepper ally, we were suppose to have a big bonfire down at the football field but it was raining so we had it all inside :) it was pretty fun. The whole football team rode a firetruck around the town and we like... "smile and wave boys, smile and wave" Lol :P They also had a jersey auction when people bid on our shirts, my got sold for like 60 dollars. They wore them in school and at the football game, they bid on the white away game jerseys that I'm wearing in the pic. A girl called gentry bought it, she is awesome!




We lost our homecoming game but pretty much because we aren't that good and the other team was like top 10 on our district!
Anyway the homecoming day with the dance and everything was sweet, we ate dinner with our group at a place called chillies and I ate a BIG steak, it was awesome :) George was suppose to take pictures of me and my date and two of my friend that are a couple, when were all dressed up and stuff. But my date wasn't there cause she waited at the restaurant for us. but it didn't really matter because we went to my dates house, Sarah, and her mom took some pictures of the whole group :) They will be updated to my facebook too.
You just have to live with the picture of me and my friends homecoming picture for now. It looks like we are on a triple date because we all match it is kinda funny XD.


Everybody was like saying that the homecoming dance was going to be lame, well it was kinda lame but only if you think that it will be, so i just went in and wanted to have fun. And i did have fun, really fun!! It was kinda lame at the beginning because the DJ really sucked she only played like slow dances aka "tryckare" :P. But when we all wanted to change music to like something more dancing music like hip hop or pop people started to dance. And ofc I was in the middle of the dance. We weren't that many that did dance but the people that did sure had fun... don't know about the other people but they probably thought that it was kinda lame... lol.
After the dance a bunch of people went to A girl called Katie, it was fun we were just chilling.

A funny thing about Americans is how they call their parties parties... they are not really parties they just watching movies and stuff. They should come to Sweden and see how a REAL party is!!! :D

Chilled at a dudes house called Dana and some other people after school today cause we had half day and ended school at 1 am so it was awesome! I usually have football practice just after school so i cant really do that much after school soo that sucks. It was fun we played the new Halo 3 Odst it was sweet! And I also took my flue shot today, it was not for H1M1 (swine flue) but apparently it will protect me :) lol. cost like 26 dollars!!

Are trying to sign up to the Hawaii trip with Youth for Understanding but it doesn't go so well! :/
But I WILL GO TO HAWAII with my friend sunny who also is going there! It will be sooo much fun :)

homecomingweek!

Homecoming week this week and it has been awesome hope it will continue to be awesome! :)

We have themes every day because it is homecoming week this week. Yesterday everybody were suppose to wear their class color, the seniors were pink so i colored my hair pink lol! Today was 80's day, tomorrow is Disney day and I'm gonna be the joker from batman. Yes joker is a Disney character now because disney bought marvel :D Thursday is nerd day and I'm going to wear my suspenders, iron man t-shirt, my glasses, coloroid pants and fix my hair in a nerdy way :P Friday is the homecoming game and everybody should dress with springville clothes! I really hope that i get to do the kickoff for that game! That would be so CRAZY, it's like the most glorious game at the whole year :) And Saturday.. Homecoming dance! I'm so looking forward to it it's gonna be so fun :)

I had my Swedish friend Sunny aka Sanne over this weekend and we had an awesome time! She is also an exchange student with YFU and we met at this pre-departuring meeting in Stockholm in June. She is CRazy :) She were only over for Saturday to sunday but we had an awesome time and she will be back! We were at the mall, had a bonfire at the evening and at Sunday sunny and I rode the horses, it was her first time! We did a lot of things and I had a really good time. :D

Awesomeness!

Friday was gameday, so i played both varsity and JV. I played a lot in the JV, both offence and defence! In the offence i played as a running back, which means that you get to run with the ball a lot. I had some good runs and might have had like 70 rushing yards or something like that! So It was sweet :D I really wanted to do a touchdown but i will just have to wait until next JV game at next Monday! I played as a defencive tackle in the defence it was really fun to like break free of the line and just go tackle people :) heheh!
I did some kicking in the varsity team and i hit 100 % of the Pat's. I did two so it was cool! Kickoffs went well too, kicked one out of the end zone :D

I worked in the concession at the Iowa Hawkeye game yesterday and it took all day!! It was alright but i was kinda braindead after all that moneycounting :P Especially in the halftime, felt like i served a thousand people, was probably only hundreds ^^ I did it because we raise money to the school and the music and art program and i thought that it would be cool to see some of the game! :)
After the Hawkeye game i went to Brandons bonfire, were a couple of people there it was sweet! I slept at his house and another friend did too! It was fun!

No school tomorrow!!!!! Awesome to just chill :) I'm thinking of going down to the field to go practice my kicking with the other kicker in our team! He is good at it to so we will like see who can make a 50 yard field goal first :P I have made a 45 yard fieldgoal :D Hehe




I have just been chilling today and i slept to like 4.30 and then i helped Goergeanne fixing the basement! So it was sweet! Talk to you later! Puss kram <3

POPCORN!

The Friday game went okey. We won by 27-22, we should have won by way more than that. We played very bad and I seriously think that the other team Oland deserved to win. They played with their heart and we didn't, we we so confident that we were gonna beat them so easy and that is why we almost lost!

I didn't get to play anything because coach "dumbass" Bowman always play his best 8. I mean if you play so bad with those players why don't try someone that really wants to play! Doesn't neccesarely have to be me but i mean someone! Anyway can't wait for Friday and the JV game where i get to play as a runningback :) YEY!! I will probably play as a safety too!

So i asked this girl in school if she wanted to go to prom with me and she said yes of course :) She is cool, nice, smart, look good! So by this point I'm going to two different homecomings, the 3 October and the 9 October :)

We were in town yesterday and visited the popcornshop, they had TONS of popcorn and like a million different flavours!


And now it's settled Sunny is coming the 26! AWESOMEEE! :D

Can't wait for school tommorrow and the football practice!

Black out night!

Black out night tomorrow and the first real home game of the year with the varsity team!!! I'M PSYCHED! :D

So it is the black out night tomorrow which means three things! First; everybody in school is suppose to wear a black outfit in school, second; our game clothes is totally black, they are usually white, black or and orange and third; ITS FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS AND WE WILL ROCK!!!!!! XD

Football is going really well! I have been practicing to play as a tailback, runingback, slot... I think that they all are the same! Lol. Anyway i got to run with the ball a lot in the offence :) its soooo fun! And I'm getting really good at it, already know most of the games. The coaches lets me play a lot in practice and they think that I'm doing really good! They say that I'm one of the fastest players in the team or even maybe the fastest :)

Haha practice today was awesome! We were suppose to have like short short on us and everyone looked CRAZY :P haha! The courterback cut a pare of old jeans so it was like a par of hotpants :P haha sick :P Myself! I had my soccer shorts and rolled up my pants and shirt! Gotta say... we looked reaaaal sexy :P haha!

I really hope that i get to play a little bit in the game tomorrow, but since its a varsity game I will probably not. BUT, apparently, the team we are up against suppose to be really bad! So if we are winning and the score is like 65 - 14 or something they maybe will play me because we are leading with so much! I REALLY hope that we win and that i get to play!!

Homecoming is coming up! And Kyle's girlfriend Becca's best friend asked me if i wanted to go to there homecoming with her and I said yes! She look good and is kinda crazy lol! They go to another high school so I will go to two homecomings :) hehe :) We will in fact do a double date! I will explain what you actually do on homecoming later... When I know it! lol. I don't have a date for the homecoming at my school Springville but I think i know who to ask :)

So I did just talk to my friend Sanne aka Sunny from Karlstad, Sweden, Iowa falls and hopefully she will come over to my place the 26 september!! :) it would be soooo cool :)

Well will make an update at like Saturday and tell you guys how the game went! So have a good time! I Will :)

Friday Night Lights

So I'm sorry for not updating the blog this last week, its not that i haven't had anything to say but I have had school, football, trouble with horses and stuff!

Anyway so last Sunday I decided to take my first ride on a horse! It was really fun and I like galloped and stuff, it toke some time for the horse to do as I told him but after a while i got the hang of it. We rode like 2 hours streak, and i was loving it, but it didn't take long before I started to sneeze and sneeze and sneeze! I hoped that it just were the cold, but NOOO! Apparently I'm really allergic to horses, I mean not just little, the morning after my eyes was so red that you could barely see the white in them, it itched and I had trouble breathing! So we went to the doctor to get some pills and stuff. So this week I have spent about 250 dollars on medication and doctors appointments, I have been taking like six pills a day got a inhaler if i got any troubles of breathing and a BIG shot in my ass! And on top of all this i got bonkydus or something like that that makes me coff really much!
Anyway it starting to get better now and i played the JV game yesterday under the lights!

It was the first game under the lights for me and I got to play defensive back because I'm like fast, it was really fun and i got to make some tackles. They call it Friday night lights when it's a home game and the games is always played at Friday evenings under the lamps. It was awesome because now i was really in the game, not just kicking Pat's and kickoffs.. That's fun too but tackling is WAY better! It wasn't with the best team we have because i have to learn how to play the position better before i even get to think about maybe playing varsity. I think i got it pretty well but i messed up once real bad! The game ended up like 35 to 70 so we lost kinda big! But we played our freshmen and sophomore players and they played the best they had, so we did kinda good! The other team was all Indians so it was cool, they were really big!

And i prevented a touchdown, it was so awesome making that tackle! :)

Another exchange student has come to Springville, he is from Georgia. Not the state Georgia tho :P His name is Elia and he is kinda cool!

LABOR DAY at Monday so we don't have to go to school so it's a long weekend! WHOOOO! Don't really know what you do at labor day but well well one more day of sleeping is never wrong! :)
