Goodbye Party!!!

Had my goodbye/going away/grad party yesterday, and it was freaking awesome and I had a really good time with my friends and family :)

The party was from 5 to whenever the party died and people left around 2 so it was a good party! The Facebook event said that I had about 53 confirmed people that were coming so that's pretty sweet, but im pretty sure that I had more than 53 people coming. Everyone didn't stay all the way to the end and some people came early left pretty soon and some people came later. Anyway pretty much all my friends came so that was awesome and I had a really good time! :) People were playing volleyball, basketball, soccer, just chilling and hanging out and ofc eating! lol :) The food George made was awesome and all of it was gone in the end of the night. I guess that's going to happen when you're in America lol

I leave in two weeks from now so i got some time left, but some of the people that came i knew that i wasn't going to see them again, which was really freaking sad!! :( But I will meet most of the people that came and most of my friends again, so that makes me feel better about it!

Sarah Ellegard, the Norwegian exchange student from Springville is leaving Saturday and wasn't going to have a goodbye party. But I told her that she has to have a goodbye party for all of her friends I mean leaving without having a real goodbye with all of your friends is not a choice! It has to happen! So Sarah is having her party tmrw :)

Anyway, so Devin, Andy, Brayden and Nathaniel were the people that left last. Well nathaniel and Brayden and I were going to a party but it got canceled so we went back to my house and made a fire. We just chilled and talked to 5 in the morning the they stayed the night. It was a good way to end the party and the day.! :)

Swimming!

Today was an another awesome day!! But this day was extra awesome because I went swimming with my friends! :) I had so much fun!

So I was suppose to have a baseball practice in the morning but i overslept and didn't have a ride to drop me off lol. The plan was to go after baseball but i just got picked up from my home, met with the people at school and then we headed off to Lake Mcbride :D We all rode in Hope's car, Patrick, Hannah, Sydney, Hope and I :) I mean just the ride there was fun, just messing around and dancing and singing to the music!

We got there and someone said that we might have to pay to get in, but Hope, Patrick and Me all forgot out wallets, haha and Hope forgot her driving license and she was the one driving lol. Anyway luckely we didn't have to pay! pfheww! ;) We got down to the beach and the first thing we did was throw ourselves in the water!!! Or at least I did the other's were being wimpy about it lol ;) But I still think they're awesome!! We played football, frispee, volleyball, wrestling, splashing water and just had fun in the water, well and ofc... Swimming :) I love swimming and I LOVE water!! It's the best, and I was soo excited for going to the beach cause I haven't all summer, but we're gonna keep doing it as much as possible. Oh yeah we also burried Sydney in sand and yeah u can c lol

We all got way tanned, especially hannah haha! She was in a car accident so she has a casque on her arm so she couldn't really swim, so she tanned more than the rest of us, and fell asleep tanning so when she woke up she had a burn from her shades and it looked awesome haha! :) P-ray also burned... well ofc he did he's a ginger lol jk ;)

Went to the softball game later for a while and then I went home to prepare for my goodbye party tmrw! It's going to be awesome!! :) Anyway I had an awesome day and I hope to have more days like these soon. :) <3

Summer and baseball!!

So this summer has been real busy, not much time to chill and relax because I have been playing baseball every day except sundays! It's fun but it takes up so much fucking time so I don't know if i wanna go through with it. Idk if I want to spend my last time in US on something that I don't LOVE doing, but so far I'm doing it so we'll see how it goes lol.

So before I went out for baseball i thought that it would be so easy and that everyone can do it! BUT NOOO, it's really hard actually. I think we think that it's a simple sport to master just because the pro baseball leagues makes it look so easy!

People have told me that I'm like really good at baseball for never playing it before, so that's sweet! My favorite part of baseball is batting and base running, plating outfield sucks!!! You do nothing during a game except at like one time when there is a fly ball coming your way and you're suppose to catch it... i don't usually during the game lol is suck :P But like I said I'm pretty good at batting, I almost hit a homerun, it hit the fence and I almost had a "in the park" homerun, that means that you get to homebase when the ball is still in the field. I made it home but the ref called me out because he didn't see me touch second base! Bullshit is what i call it lol!

Anyway, enough with baseball, it's not the only thing i've been up to this summer! I have been hanging with my friends a lot, usually after baseball if I have the energy to do it. lol. I have also gone to some parties that have been pretty kick ass! And like I said earlier, Patrick has been here for about 2 weeks, although he left yesterday, so i've been hanging with Patrick, Kyle and George too. I haven't goon swimming yet!!!! :'( except for the time in Sam's pawn but not like for real swimming. So I'm doing that tmrw with some people after practice!! :) :) :)

So going home in about 19 days :( :( :( :'( It feels really weird to be excited about seeing my family and friends at home but at the same time be really sad about leaving my family and friends here! :( oh well life goes on!! :)

Graduation! :)

I've been a High School graduate for one week now, because i graduated Sunday last week!!! :) Was gonna write about it sooner but I didn't really have time.

So I didn't really graduate like everyone else, I mean I only did school here for one year. My Certificate of Achievement said "This certifies that Daniel Wollin has completed the basic requirements as an exchange student at Springville High School bla bla bla lol.

Graduation was fun!!! :) We all gathered so we knew that everyone was there, It's not that hard to count i mean we were only like 30 people graduating from Springville compared to like bigger schools that has maybe 500 graduates or more. Then we put our stupid caps ad gouns on, I bet they were like... Alright what's the stupidest had we can make for this. Oh yeah lets put a square on our heads! lol. Anyway then we walked in the Graduation hall and got or diplomas and scollarchips were given and all that. Lastly we just talked to everyone and everyone was saying good job and shit to the graduates. It was a pretty good time! xD

My friend Dan Loney's mom gave me an American Lay and a American flag lol it was pretty sweet! :P

I'm miss everyone at school and I kinda miss school actually, the social part not the study and all the fucking homework! ;) I was real sad during graduation, it was the last time I would see all the seniors in the same place. I mean i will obviously meet most of them again but still... it's sad. It felt like it was the end of my stay here to, i mean I have less than a month left in America, it's bittersweet. I will miss everything here and my awesome american family, all my kickass friends that i've made here, the culture, i mean i will miss everything, except all the fat people lol jk. But it will also be totally awesome to go back to Sweden to meet and hug my family again, and see my friends again and a lot more. Oh well i have a month left and I'm gonna do the best of it and live life!! :)

Senior class trip!!!!! :D

Had the senior class trip last Wednesday and it was freaking crazy fun! :) We left for six flags, Chicago at around 4, so we were all pretty tired. But after a while we all got going and superexcited. We made sure to be create "cool" people bus, where most of the cool people would be on ;) It was Tanner, Spencer, Noel, Jordan, Maggie, Shaun, Jaeger, Cameron and I and we had a blast in the bus! We started a food fight with the other vans, we opened the back door at the red light and started to through doughnuts at them, but when that wasn't enough Jordan, Spencer and I went out of the car and smeared cinnamon roles at the vans and through them in to the vans haha it was an awesome way to start the trip!

We got to the hotel and dropped our stuff in our rooms, I shared rooms with Spencer, Tanner, Jordan, Noel and Shaun. Then went to the amusement park Six Flags!!! :D They had a LOT of cool rides, it's not like the lame parks we have in Sweden, these were AWESOME! We bought a "Flash pass", so we didn't have to wait in the lines as long :) It was sweet haha walking passed all the other people that had been waiting for the rides about 45 min and we waited for about 5 min xD We rode all the cool rides, Superman, Raging Bull, Batman, V2 and a lot more! They we're all mind blowing! :)

We got back at the Hotel at around 6 and spent the rest of the day at the swimming place at the hotel, it had like slides and stuff. So that was pretty awesome, then we went to eat dinner at some burgerplace and it was pretty awesome, hadn't eaten for about 14 hours so I was STARVIN!! After dinner Jordan, Tanner, Spencer, Karlee, April and I went to the hot tub for 15 min before it closed, it felt SOOOO good! :D We were suppose to be sound asleep in our rooms at 11, but our chaperons kicked ass and was kinds chill about it. So Spencer, Jordan, Tanner and I stayed up to 4, and just messed around with people, we shaved Shaun's legs, made Jaeger believe he pissed himself and put shaving cream on people's faces :) haha it was a good night. Spencer and Me went across the hallway totally butt naked wearing nothing at all haha it was awesome!

Some of the guys had to leave earlier Thursday because we had our first Baseball game! We lost by a LOT but i played some varsity and scored! :) I love hitting and base hitting but outfield sucks!!! Anyway the class trip was freaking awesome, and I had a ton of fun! :)

Another awesome week!

There's been a lot of things going on this week, Patrick Frei came back the 22, last day of school, choir concert, graduation partys, baseball, going away party, senior class trip and first baseball game.

Can't remember what day we did this but I think it was some day last week. Anyway it was our last Choir Concert and we preformed a kind of dance and it was kinda cool i guess, they wouldn't let us have fun with it that much and like freak out and bust some moves during the dance, but I did it anyway haha :) It sucks that it's our last choir concert, i've had so much fun with it and I'm so happy i went our for it! :)

We also did some normal singing :)

So we went to pick up Patrick the may 22 at the Cedar Rapids airport, but he wasn't there, he hadn't land at all. He missed his flight in Chicago because his flight from Switzerland was late. So he had to spend the night there and take the next flight coming in the next day. So we went home again and went to some graduation partys, We all went to one badass man, Noel! It was fun, hung out with people, ate some awesome food and talked. Then George and Kyle dropped me off at two crazy mans grad party, Dan Loney and Tyler dudley! Same thing going on, but different people, and a comedy show :) Then I went back to Noel's house with Mac and Brittney, because he had a Kickass bonfire going on. Btw, according to Mac and Britt, only cool people piss their pants! lol. The bonfire was awesome :)

Our Georgian exchange student Ilia was leaving tuesday so we had a little party for him Monday, we were just hanging out and chilling. Sang some karaoke and danced a lot! lol. It was pretty sweet, Ilia had a lot of fun. A good way to end your year in U.S, with your friends and family!

Tuesday was last day of school, I was sad but almost everyone else was happy. It started with, P-ray, Maggie, Noel, Nathaniel and I going to the airport to supprise Ilia. It was sweet and he really appreciated it. Then we all went to school and missed first our, but it doesn't matter, it was totally worth it! And ofc April wanted a picture on our last day of school, DAAAANIEL I WANT A PICTURE WITH U!!! That was what she said, april is to the left. lol

After our last day of school, some friends and I went to Spencer's house to celebrate that our last day of school was over. We celebrated it the best way possible, the american way, with shooting guns and eating 4 big pizzas. First time shooting a gun and it was SOOO much fun haha! It was Spencer, Tanner, Noel, Shaun, Collin, Dan, Dana, Patrick Frei, and I, Sorry if I forgot someone. It was awesome, i've never shot a gun before so it was freaking sweet! We used like a 16 cal shotgun or something like that, and some other guns. We only shot targets, I would never ever shoot an animal! It was AWESOME! haha. And after that we went to baseball practice :) And after that, Jordan, Spencer, Tanner, Patrick and I went to the girls Softball game :)

The next day we went to Chicago with our class for our class trip! It was totally awesome but I have no pictures yet so I will do a blogpost about it later ;)

Dirty dancing/camping/ironman2/swimming kind of week!! :D

Last weekend was a GREAT weekend!! :) I'm sorry for publishing it so late btw, but better late than never ;)

Had my co-ed dance last Saturday and it was freaking awesome, we all kicked total ass!!! Literally, there is a part in the co-ed dance, time of my life, dirty dancing, where there is a guys part and we shake our asses ;) haha

There was a lot of stuff on the schedule, like A LOT, pre-school dance, elementary-school, middle-school and then all the high school girls dances, and of course the Co-ed! :D The high school girls dances was definitely the best part! They did probably like 3 dances and they were all really cool, especially the last one, the "Lady Gaga" dance. But before that was a lot of stuff, we had some competitions and some Macarena dancing and some modern line dancing ;) It was really fun :) But the most awesome part of the home show was... ofc co-ed ^^. One of the competitions that i volunteered to be in! :D

I was wearing black dress pants and dress shirt and red converse, which was awesome because my partner, Hope had a red dress! :) I wish that the guys would've worn a black tight sexy tank top instead though that would've been way more dirty dancing ish!!! Anyway we still looked really good... like always ;) haha. We did really good and we only messed up once, and you could barely see it, it was her fault... but don't tell her that haha lol ;) Otherwise we did awesome, George got it all on tape so it was pretty fun to see how we did and how it looked like :) We got our lift done perfectly and our awesome ending that we had barely practiced. So we pretty much nailed it and it was SOOOO crazy much fun!!!! It's sad that it's over though, Love dancing and wish it would've been longer! And then the Lady Gaga dance, guess who was Lady Gaga?? Well ofc it was Hope haha, always center of attention lol. The dance was really cool and they did it really really good, and the girls LOOKED damn good as well ;) Me and Hope, with her Lady Gaga outfit on.

After the home show was done I had to go to a stupid YFU camping thing where we were suppose to talk about going home to our countries. :( It was alright but it's always kinda awkward at those meetings, no one really talks, except for Ida and Hannah. I hung out with them the whole night and we were the only one sleeping outside, we slept by the fire all night :D The rest of the people were gay and slept in the tent.. So these meetings really doesn't matter, all u do is talk about going home and then you get all down and upset about it! So it rally just suck except meeting some of the people! But it was pretty fun and while Ida, Hannah and I we're outside we saw three shooting stars :) it was pretty cool :)

I've had a really good week and I've done a lot of stuff! :) Went to see Ironman 2, with Spencer, Tanner and Jake (Spencer did a J turn where u go reverse and then turn/slide and go forward the same direction haha it was pretty awesome :), also had a Choir concert, a bonfire in the middle of the week and stayed up to 3.40 ;) haha! I'll tell u more about that some other time haha!

And I had a really good day today as well! After school, which was awesome btw, Spencer and I went to Dicks and bought some baseball gloves and just hung out before we went to practice. Practice was dumb, Spencer and I was late so we had to tun a mile and a half for punishment! :( :( After that was sad though. Spencer, P-ray, Noel and I went to visitation for a friend of ours that past away 2 weeks ago. He was a graduate from last year and I had the priveledge to meet him a few times! R.I.P. you will be forever loved and remembered.

But the day was not over, we cheered up and was on our way to Ilia's going away party and we wen by the school. And we saw that they had a middleschool dance going on, so we totally decided to crash it!! :D haha it was awesome, Spencer, P-ray, Noel and I just ran in there and started dancing! haha it was SOOO funny! :D And then we went to Sams house where the party was :) II had an amazing time there and it was so much fun! Sam has a pawn so we (Noel, Ilia, P-ray, Spencer and I) decided to jump in it and swim! It was so awesome, kinda cold though lol but totally worth it!!! :D Then we jsut chilled by the fire, watching a movie, playing pool and just hanging out! So like I said i had an awesome day! :D

Last weekend was totally awesome and so was this week, and this weekend will also be VERY awesome! So i guess everything is awesome right now XD
